Final festive moments for the Gazelles at the gala in Essaouira
RALLYE AÏCHA DES GAZELLES 2024
Essaouira | Awards
The time has come for the Gazelles to say “goodbye”. After sixteen days of adventure, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc ended on Saturday evening with a memorable party in Essaouira.
Gone were the orange vests: the Gazelles donned their finest outfits for the gala evening that brought this 33rd edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc to a close. The teams were welcomed by a violinist in the Medina hotel, setting the tone for an evening that promised to be musical and festive. This year saw a new concept: the sit-down meal gave way to an evening where guests circulated between the different buffets scattered across the hotel patio. Seafood risotto, marinated meat skewers, petits fours, sushi, grilled vegetables… There was something for everyone! And for drinks, Rallye partners Château Roslane and Champagne de Vignerons were on hand to delight the guests.
To begin the closing of this 2024 edition, Dominique toasted the 33rd edition told through videos which retrace the teams' ten-day adventure. Each time they saw themselves on screen, the Gazelles applauded each other or shouted with joy! A photo slideshow also took them back to the highlights of the rally.
Awards for certain Gazelles
The evening was also an opportunity to reward Jocelyne and Aurore of Team 162 , winners of the Gazelles Engagées prize, who received a check for 10.000 euros from Maïenga to give to The Little Princesassociation. Very moved, the mother and daughter explained why they had wanted to compete in support of this association that makes the dreams of seriously ill and dying children come true. Like every year, several associations were represented by the generous Gazelles. It was the task of the Rallye's CSR committee and partners to choose between them. “It’s always very difficult to make a choice”, emphasized Dominique. Next, Nathalie Hanard awarded the Beauty Car by Cawé Challenge, a prize for the best full vehicle wrap. This year's award went to Les Burdiz'elles, Laetitia and Cyndie of Team 130 whose vehicle was voted as the most beautiful of the rally by all the employees of the Cawé company.
After these awards, it’s time for music! The festivities began with Jeremy Frérot, who sang a few songs in tribute to the Gazelles before making way for DJ Kam's. The audience quickly gathered in front of the stage and the atmosphere became electric! Teams and organizers hit the dance floor to unwind and share a good time. But all good things come to an end, and this evening marks the end of this 33 rd edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc…
